Quail House
Quail House is a charming 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom getaway in a small neighborhood by the lake that sleeps 7. It's completely furnished and ready for you to enjoy. It has a washer and in-unit dryer, television, heating, full kitchen with a refrigerator and cooking basics like pots and pans, dishes, silverware, salt and pepper, etc. It also has a coffee maker and toaster. The front has a covered porch, and the back has a small yard. A BBQ grill is on site as well. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed for your safety.
Well-behaved pets are allowed, and service animals are always welcome.

Subway Cave Lava Tubes
These are about a 90 minute drive from Eagle Lake RV Park. They're old volcano tubes with a section about 1/3 of a mile long that can be walked through. Be sure to bring a flashlight or phone with light, though, once you round the corner by the entrance, it is pitch black inside. -

Eagle Lake Recreation Trail
This easy out and back trail is suitable for all ages. It takes a bit over 90 minutes to complete and has nice scenery to enjoy at the south end of the lake. The well-maintained path is excellent for biking or trail running, and dogs are welcome. -

Scenic Bike Riding
Eagle Lake RV Park rents bicycles by the day so you can take a leisurely ride around the lake and take in the beautiful surroundings on two wheels. Rent a bike at the store in the front of the park, and start exploring! -

Eagle Lake Art Center
Eagle Lake Art center at the north end of the lake has classes throughout the summer, usually in the afternoons. You can learn to paint, draw with stencils, make driftwood mobiles, and many other artistic endeavors. Click on the picture to be directed to their website for class schedules and more information. -

Guided Fishing Service
Guided fishing tours are available with Fish Traveler and NorthState Guide Service. Fish Traveler offers parties of 2-4 clients per trip. The limit at Eagle Lake is two fish per day and 4 fish in possession per angler. The average fish from these trips that's kept and put on ice is 18-19 inches and weighs 2.5-3.5 lbs. Burney Falls
129-foot Burney Falls, which is not the highest or largest waterfall in the state is possibly the most beautiful. Additional water comes from springs on the side, joining to create a mist-filled basin. Check trail conditions before you leave as the park's about an 1 hour 45 minute drive. -

Diamond Mountain Golf
This 18-hole course just south of Susanville is only 45 minutes away. It features 6,518 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 70.0 and it has a slope rating of 113 and was designed by Dave Tanner.
